If Children’s Defense took the leap to spread awareness around Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and how they affect a child’s future relationships, risk of alcohol or drug abuse and financial struggle, this is what I would design for them. This is targeted towards people who may have been affected by ACEs to break the “ACE cycle” with their own kids, since they are more likely to continue it. The graphics revolve around wooden building blocks that are associated with children. They’re used to show how positive memories can build a positive life foundation (Posters) vs a negative one (Social Media Ads).
